This week’s episode of the Schooling Noah Podcast features Andres Becerril. Andres is an essential worker and pretty high up on the ladder at the Aurora King Soopers. He is a shift manager at a grocery store. Considering the state of the world what with Coronavirus and all the variations of the Fast and the Furious movies, you can bet that Andres’ job is of the utmost importance. That’s why he’s here to school Noah and Aaron about grocery stores.
Andres is not a fan of grocery stores. Grocery stores are incredibly filthy and the customers (AKA guests) are some of the most needy people in the whole entire store. That’s not to mention the employees. These people…have you seen these people? In addition to some of the bad things that happen in grocery stores (whether there’s a pandemic or not), Andres talks about some of the redeeming qualities of grocery stores. Sushi, cleaning, David with glasses at the front desk, and fixing problems for people who really need help (read: Noah).
Andres spills it all, then wipes it up. Some of today’s talking points are Coinstar, Safeway’s chicken wing bar, finding love in quarantine, video rental and photo development. This episode also includes golden nuggets like Noah trying his new jokes, spending his $1200 stimulus, Chipotle ordering gone wrong, and sex ed.
This is a fun episode and we are glad to continue producing the podcast while under lock down. Andres is a comedian based in Denver. He is co-host to two podcasts that are definitely worth checking out: Joke & Destroy (with Jeremy Pysher) and Los Chupacabros (with JD Lopez and Patrick Scott).
