CoVid-19 & Comedians
Due to the shut down of in person live performances, comedians are unable to work. A fund raiser has been created to help the comedy entertainers of Denver.

The purpose of this fund is to provide relief to the comedians who rely on their careers to make ends meet, as well as reimburse the comedians who are missing out on fairly important income. The term may be “starving artist”, but when artists really are starving, that’s a real tragedy. This health crisis is effecting everyone, even those who aren’t afflicted with it.
Please consider helping out the fastest growing comedy scene in the country!!
If you’ve ever seen a comedy show, you know how much we comedians love to do what we do. Denver’s vast and expansive comedy scene has no doubt assisted in making a lot of people feel happy. After all, Comedy Works wouldn’t be nearly as popular as it is if it didn’t have fantastic comedians in its employ. Comedy is truly one of the fundamental foundations of humanity. So then, it should break everyone’s heart to hear that comedians in Denver are not only struggling, but are scared and hurting.
In this health crisis, the arts are taking a painful hit. Shows are being cancelled, venues are closing, and for people who rely on comedy for their income, this can have absolutely devastating effects. Comedy has no doubt helped everyone through some hard times, so when comedians suffer, so do we all. If you can afford it, together we can lessen the impact on potentially hundreds of people. These are the people whose only goal in life is to make others happy. Give only what you can, and if you cannot give, then please save your own money. Our goal is not to increase the suffering in this crisis. However, if you can afford to donate, we implore you to give anything that you possibly can. The future of comedy in Denver depends on it.
